Congratulations on completing your graduate studies! You are now poised to begin a fulfilling career as a professional counselor in Texas.
As a supervisor approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, I provide clinical supervision virtually and in person to LPC Associates aiming to fulfill the licensure hours mandated by the state. My supervision adheres to the guidelines set by the Board, ensuring that LPC Associates develop into competent and ethical professionals. With over seventeen years of experience in school and/or private practice, I have extensive experience addressing a variety of clinical challenges
Supervision is scheduled usually for one hour per week for a minimum duration of 18 months and is customized to your developmental needs as a counselor. Our sessions will explore important topics including ethical and legal considerations, implementation of theoretical orientation, case consultations, problem-solving techniques, navigating the licensure process, and developing your professional identity as a counselor. I also offer insights into the clinical and administrative elements of establishing a private practice.
